Night Cologne starts more energetically than its moody, nocturnal name might suggest, blood orange and pomelo arriving bright and immediately citrus rather than dark or brooding from the outset. Yuzu, Virginia cedar, and geranium carry that brightness into calmer, woody middle territory that keeps the composition feeling grounded rather than sharp. Oak moss, musk, woodsy notes, and amber ground the dry down in warm, earthy depth that lasts for many long hours after the citrus above has faded. Cooler months and evening wear both suit this citrus woody Eau De Toilette especially well, bright at first and considerably darker by the very end. Perry Ellis built something layered here, entirely worthy of its own nocturnal, understated, quietly moody name and character.
