Lattafa built Asad Elixir Cologne around spiced warmth, Pink Pepper, Saffron, and Grapefruit giving little hint of the tobacco depth still waiting further in. Tobacco, Vanilla, and Cedar extend that warmth through the entire heart, smoky and sweet as the whole composition continues to develop further. Frankincense, Light Amber, Patchouli, and Cashmeran ground the entire finish in a dense, resinous depth that gives this particular Eau de Parfum real staying power through an entire long, quite formal evening indeed. This oriental spicy fragrance suits formal occasions and cooler months especially well, richer and more complex than its accessible price point might suggest. Asad Elixir earns its name across every stage of the wear, from the very first spray deep into the evening.
