Ameer Al Arab Perfume, a name that translates roughly to prince of Arabia, starts on jasmine and honeysuckle, a sweeter and softer opening than the regal title might suggest. Lavender, pepper and saffron build a spiced heart through the middle of this Asdaaf eau de parfum, adding warmth without tipping into heaviness. What makes the composition unusual is its base, cardamom, mint and basil rather than the amber or oud typically found in Middle Eastern perfumery, giving the drydown an herbal, almost culinary freshness. Ameer Al Arab Eau de Parfum wears quite comfortably during the day, its minty base keeping things light even as the saffron middle adds enough presence to carry into evening as well.
