Violet and citruses open Black Perfume bright and immediately floral, a start that gives little hint of the considerable white floral abundance still quietly waiting further in. White flowers, tuberose, jasmine, hyacinth, magnolia, lily of the valley, lotus, ylang ylang, and iris crowd the entire middle with extraordinary, considerable floral abundance throughout the wear. Musk, sandalwood, and amber ground the entire dry down in warm, comforting depth that lasts for many long hours after the florals above have properly settled down. Evening wear and grand formal occasions both suit this floral Eau De Parfum especially well, rewarding real patience with its considerable, layered depth. Kenneth Cole built something the bold, understated title undersells, layered well beyond what its plain name actually suggests.
