Give Me The Night Perfume takes its own time getting dark, sparkling bergamot, freesia, and green violet leaves arriving bright and immediately crisp well before any real nocturnal warmth shows itself. Jasmine sambac and peppery sweet amber carry that brightness into unexpectedly spiced, floral middle territory that keeps developing steadily rather than turning predictable or dull. Powdery moss, sandalwood, and musk ground the dry down in warm, comforting depth that lasts for many hours after the citrus above has faded. Evening wear and nights out both suit this floral amber Eau De Parfum especially well, bright at first and unmistakably nocturnal by the very end. Derek Lam made the demanding, evocative name earn itself honestly, atmosphere building steadily from that early sparkle through to the nocturnal finish.
