Leather rarely gets treated this seriously in fragrance, but Daniel Josier builds Green Leather around it like a tailor working with the finest hide available. Thyme, saffron, and raspberry open things spiced and slightly fruity, an unusual pairing that softens what could otherwise read as harsh. Night jessamine, leather notes, and black leather deepen the middle considerably, dark and unmistakably central to the whole composition. Leather returns once more in the base alongside wood notes and amber, rich and smoky, giving the dry down real weight and staying power. This leather woody Eau De Parfum suits evening wear and cooler months especially well, confident rather than delicate. Daniel Josier conceived something distinctly uncompromising here, dark, spiced, and entirely committed to its central leather idea.
