Two distinct rose varieties show up later in Love Deluxe Perfume, but the opening stays elsewhere first, magnolia, angelica, hyacinth, and orange arriving bright and immediately floral before that rose heavy heart takes over. Bulgarian rose, Turkish rose, iris, and damask plum crowd the entire middle with extraordinary floral abundance, two distinct rose varieties giving this composition genuine, considerable rarity. Patchouli, ambrette, moss, sweet clover, and cedar ground the dry down in warm, earthy depth that lasts for many long hours. Formal evenings and romantic occasions both suit this floral Eau De Parfum equally well, rewarding real patience with its considerable rose focused depth. Derek Lam let real luxury run through the whole composition, indulgent and deeply romantic in exactly the way its own name suggests it should be.
