Twenty three notes total go into this fragrance, and Byblos rarely believed in editing when building something this genuinely ambitious. Pineapple, black currant, cassia, peach, marigold, grapefruit, passionfruit, mandarin orange, and bergamot open in a fruity citrus rush unlike most modern releases. Honeysuckle, jasmine, mimosa, heliotrope, gardenia, lily of the valley, lily, orchid, iris, rose, and orris root crowd the heart with extraordinary floral abundance. Pepper, vetiver, musk, and raspberry close the base in unexpectedly spiced depth given everything that came before it. This fruity floral perfume, an Eau De Toilette, suits evening wear and formal occasions especially well, rewarding true patience. Byblos built something rare here, dense and entirely unwilling to simplify itself for the sake of a quicker, easier read.
