Molyneux opens Quartz Cologne on bergamot, black currant, cloves, galbanum, and apple, an ambitious fruity spiced rush that immediately signals real complexity behind this composition’s mineral inspired, confident name. Moss, vetiver, jasmine, and cedar carry the middle into calm, earthy floral territory that keeps the composition feeling grounded rather than overly sweet throughout the entire long wear. Musk, amber, and labdanum close the base in warm, resinous depth that lasts for many long hours after the fruit above has settled properly. This fruity spiced Eau De Toilette suits evening wear and the cooler months especially well, complex rather than simple about its own considerable character.
