There is an immediate sweetness to Tanasuk Perfume, rose, grenadine and saffron combining at the top into something tart, floral and faintly spiced all at once. Woody notes, jasmine and amber move through the heart, tempering the fruit with warmth as the extrait de parfum develops on skin. Vanilla, musk and brown sugar close the composition, a rich, almost dessert like finish that lasts for hours given the strength of an extrait concentration. Tanasuk Extrait de Parfum is built for evenings and special occasions rather than daily wear, its sugared, ambery drydown better suited to a dinner than an office desk. Al Haramain leans fully into gourmand territory here, unafraid of sweetness in a way that some Western oriental fragrances shy away from. Anyone drawn to rich, rose forward orientals with a properly sweet finish will find Tanasuk memorable, particularly once cold weather sets in and its warmth becomes an asset.
