The Secret Cologne keeps its actual secret well hidden at first, mint and grapefruit arriving sharp and immediately cool with little hint of the warmth waiting further in. Cinnamon, pepper, and an unusual apple liqueur accord take over through the middle, wonderfully spiced and boozy in a way that keeps things interesting rather than predictable. Leather, tonka bean, musk, and woods anchor the dry down in dense, warm richness for many long hours after the sharper opening has faded. Nights out suit this aromatic spiced Eau De Toilette especially well, distinctive rather than conventional about its own considerable warmth throughout. Antonio Banderas built this cool at first and unmistakably warm by the very end of wear, the actual secret turning out to be real staying power.
